Chicken Wild Rice Soup
Ingredients
- 1 pound Boneless, skinless chicken breasts fat trimmed, diced
- 1 pound Carrots peeled and diced
- 1 cup Celery chopped
- 1 tsp Minced Garlic
- 1/4 cup Wild Rice Uncooked
- 1 tsp Basil
- 1/2 tsp Pink Himalayan Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Thyme dried
- 4 cups Chicken Broth
Instructions
- Layer all ingredients in a slow cooker. Stir a couple of times to distribute the broth.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Notes
To Prep Ahead: Combine all ingredients except the broth in a freezer-safe bag or container. Freeze until ready to cook (or up to three months).
When ready to cook, add contents of the freezer container to a slow cooker. Pour the 4 cups of brother over the top. Cook on low for 8 hours.
