Salmon with Balsamic Onions

- 4 Salmon fillets
- 3 Tbsp Olive Oil
- Salt To taste
- 1 Large Sweet Onion (or Purple Onion) thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1/2 Cup Fresh Basil Sliced
- 1 Lemon Sliced
Preheat oven to 400 degrees, F. Brush salmon with olive oil; season liberally with salt. Place on baking sheet and put in preheated oven. Bake until salmon flakes with a fork (about 12-15 minutes). In a skillet on the stovetop, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil. Add onions and sauté until slightly tender; add garlic and balsamic vinegar. Cook until most of the vinegar liquid has evaporated.
Arrange salmon fillets on a serving dish. Tops with onions, fresh basil, and lemon slice, squeezed.
