Salmon with Balsamic Onions

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Salmon fillets
  • 3 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt To taste
  • 1 Large Sweet Onion (or Purple Onion) thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 1/2 Cup Fresh Basil Sliced
  • 1 Lemon Sliced

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees, F.
    Brush salmon with olive oil; season liberally with salt. Place on baking sheet and put in preheated oven. Bake until salmon flakes with a fork (about 12-15 minutes).
  • In a skillet on the stovetop, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil. Add onions and sauté until slightly tender; add garlic and balsamic vinegar. Cook until most of the vinegar liquid has evaporated.
  • Arrange salmon fillets on a serving dish. Tops with onions, fresh basil, and lemon slice, squeezed.
